It is supposed to serve as an informational website keeping you posted on me and my life as a musician.
My name is Esther Odefey. I am currently living and studying in Hannover, Germany.
In the studio for productions, at gigs - solo or with a band - I love to sing.
Whether it is for me or for somebody else, as a way of communication or as a carrier of emotions; I write songs, live and breathe music.
To me music is calamity, power, letting go, motivation, joy, tears, inspiration. It is a place where I feel understood, where intense emotions can flow freely and get provoked. My wish is to create such a place for anyone listening to my music as well.
Mit einem Faible für ausufernde Harmonien bewegt sich meine Musik zwischen englischsprachigen Acoustic Vibes und Dance Pop. Ich singe auch gerne auf Deutsch und habe vor, 2024 ein Projekt auf Deutsch zu starten. Die EP ist in der Produktion.
My wish is to have a positive impact that leads towards a healthy life in community.
Nachdem ich 2021 die EP „No Matter The Weather“ veröffentlicht habe, habe ich mit „what if i never find r.“ und „Just a picture“ 2023 einen neuen Sound gefunden.
